Our Savon de Marseille French Soaps are made by the famous savonnerie (soap factory) Le Serail, in Marseille, South France. Le Serail only use the true traditional methods of cooking in cauldrons from pure olive oil & salt water from the Mediterranean Sea with the famous label “extra pure 72%”. This most gentle and versatile soap, you can wash your hair, face and body with it & it’s great for use on stubborn stains on shirt cuffs and collars. You can even wash your favourite furry friend with them as they have no fragrance, colourings or chemicals added.

An Old French Tradition is to use the 1kg Savon de Marseille Soap in the Laundry. They would rub collar, cuff & grease stains on the block prior to washing. Then using a grater they would grate the required amount off the block & use the flakes to do their washing. Flakes can also be place in a bucket with boiling water & used to wash floors.
